I went there to buy a 2018 Prius Prime advertised on Edmunds with 14,000 miles for $22,481. I spoke to “Naomi” a number of times on the phone and asked for her when I got there. I was handed off to a random salesman who took me out to the car. When I asked him if there was any flexibility in the price he said that they add a $2900 “dealer fee”. That brought the price to $25,381 which was about the same asking price as many similar cars being advertised. I figured the price was a lie so the mileage was probably a lie too. I didn’t wait for them to fill the empty tank so I could go for a test drive. Don’t waste your time going to this hole. The positive reviews are probably all written by them.

The all-wheel-drive-only Tesla Model S is significantly more expensive than the Model 3. The Long Range variant, which travels an estimated 405 miles on a full charge, costs $106,190, up slightly from its most recent price of $101,190. The Tesla site also estimates delivery for certain versions will take until June 2023. If you really want to break the bank, the tri-motor Plaid variant sees its price hiked, first from $119,690 to $131,190 after the news dropped that Tesla won’t make the 520-mile, higher-performance Plaid+ model, which CEO Elon Musk says is no longer necessary. Now the Plaid runs $137,190.
This price might just be worth it, though. Although its driving range falls to an estimated 348 miles, the Model S Plaid benefits from a manufacturer-estimated 0-60 mph time of fewer than 2.0 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. In our tests, a less powerful dual-motor Tesla Model S Plaid zoomed to 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds. That makes it the quickest production car we’ve tested.

The electric carmaker increased its Model Y long-range price to $65,990 from $62,990, its website showed on Thursday, after delaying the deliveries of some long-range models in the United States by up to a month.
The price hike comes as costs of raw materials have surged, including aluminum that is used in cars.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has warned about the risk of a recession in recent weeks. Earlier this month, Musk said he had a “super bad feeling” about the economy and said Tesla needed to cut 10% of jobs at the company.

The standard Model S has proven itself an agile sports sedan with well-controlled body motions and direct steering. Two different settings allow drivers to choose heavy or light steering effort, but neither of them enable more feedback from the road. Ride comfort is good, the handling is crisp, and it’s confident and almost tranquil on the highway.

Elon Musk was sleeping at the office. He dismissed employees and executives at will. And he lamented his company was on the verge of bankruptcy.
That was back in 2018 and the company was Tesla, as Mr. Musks electric automaker struggled to build its mass-market vehicle, the Model 3.
It was excruciating, he told The New York Times at the time. There were times when I didnt leave the factory for three or four days days when I didnt go outside.
The billionaires experience with what he called Teslas production hell has become a blueprint for the crisis he has created at Twitter, which he bought for $44 billion last month. Over the years, Mr. Musk has developed a playbook for managing his companies including Tesla and the rocket manufacturer SpaceX through periods of pain, employing shock treatment and alarmism and pushing his workers and himself to put aside their families and friends to spend all their energy on his mission.
Mr. Musk did not respond to a request for comment.

Prices For 2022 Model X
Youd think that with the sportiness of the Model S Plaid, it would be the most expensive Tesla model, and for a portion of time it was. However, 2022 bought about a Plaid version of the Tesla Model X, and its prices are the automakers highest yet.
You get what you pay for, as they say, and the Model X has the most to offer drivers in terms of space and performance, but for a price. Like its veteran sedan counterpart, the Model X currently comes in two trims.
The Dual Motor Model X starts at an MSRP of $120,990 minimum up $6,000 compared to out last pricing update in June 2022. From there, it vaults up to $152,490 with added bonuses like 22 Turbine wheels, cream interior, and a $6,500 up-charge for a six seat interior that includes captains chairs. If youd rather have the seven-seat row, it costs $3,000 less.
The Model X refresh brought a Plaid version to the lineup to replace the Performance trim. Plaid starts at $138,990 and caps out at $163,990, including all the most expensive add-ons. Note that the Model X Plaid only comes in the six seat option.
Currently, customers who order their Model X Plaid today are not scheduled to receive their EV until fall. Even worse, Dual Motor purchasers are looking at a delivery window between March and June of 2023. If youd rather not wait, it might be worth considering a pre-owned Model X, theyre out there.
Range Charging And Battery Life
Under the Tesla’s floor lies a battery pack that yields a low center of gravity and evenly distributed weight from front to rear. Driving range and acceleration performance varies from model to model, with the base version’s battery providing up to a 412-mile range while the Plaid model offers up to 390. Upstart Lucid Motors says its Air luxury sedan is rated for up to 517 miles per charge.
