How Much Is A New Tesla Roadster

Tesla has ambitious goals for its new Roadster: hit 60 mph in 1.9 seconds and achieve a range of 620 miles. Fittingly, prices will start around $200,000. The Founders Series, limited to the first 1,000 customers, is priced around $250,000. At this price, the Roadster is poised to become the most expensive Tesla in the lineup. As of right now, Tesla is taking reservations for the Roadster but the official on-sale date hasn’t been announced.

Depending on your state, you can get a state tax credit or rebate when you purchase a new Tesla. For example, California gives a $2,000 or $4,500 rebate for a Model 3 or Model Y purchased in 2021 depending on income eligibility. Different utilities in the state also offer rebates for installing home chargers or purchasing EVs.

Also, be aware that the federal tax credit is no longer available. Yes, as with the purchase of any new vehicle, there are several additional expenses you should account for when purchasing a Tesla.

• Order fee: A $250 non-refundable order fee is charged at the time of the order.
• Destination and documentation fee: Youll have to pay a $1,200 destination and documentation fee for the delivery of your vehicle. Most car makers charge about this much.
• Taxes and fees: Model 3 buyers report paying between $4,500 and $5,000 in taxes and fees. You should expect to pay more if you buy one of the pricer cars, i.e. a Model X or Model S.
• Charging equipment: Tesla no longer provides a charger with their cars, so make sure to get one. There are two options: the $200 Mobile Connector, or the $400 Wall Connector. The Mobile Connector is slower, but can also fit into regular outlets. The Wall Connector Teslas recommended option is faster but requires a professional electrical installation which could cost you $200-300.

Tesla reports sales of its Model 3 sedan and Model Y crossover as one number, so we don’t know which is more popular. That said, the more recently introduced Model Y may have become more popular last year than the original Model 3, despite its steeper $58,990 starting price . Both of the Ys two available trim levels are dual-motor AWD models.

Optional paint colors vary in price from $1,000 to $2,000 on both trims. A set of 20-inch Induction wheels are a $2,000 option on the Long Range, and 21-inch “Uberturbine” wheels come standard on the Performance model. Tesla offers a standard all black interior or a $1,000 black and white faux leather option. Autopilot is, of course, standard and adding the Full Self-Driving Capability is now an extra $12,000. A seven-seat interior is a $3,000 option on the Long Range, but it’s not available on the Performance. Lastly, you can also get the Model Y with a tow hitch for an extra $1,000.

With destination, a loaded Long Range model costs $80,190, while going all out on a loaded Performance model costs $81,190.

Prices For 2022 Model X

Youd think that with the sportiness of the Model S Plaid, it would be the most expensive Tesla model, and for a portion of time it was. However, 2022 bought about a Plaid version of the Tesla Model X, and its prices are the automakers highest yet.

You get what you pay for, as they say, and the Model X has the most to offer drivers in terms of space and performance, but for a price. Like its veteran sedan counterpart, the Model X currently comes in two trims.

The Dual Motor Model X starts at an MSRP of $120,990 minimum up $6,000 compared to out last pricing update in June 2022. From there, it vaults up to $152,490 with added bonuses like 22 Turbine wheels, cream interior, and a $6,500 up-charge for a six seat interior that includes captains chairs. If youd rather have the seven-seat row, it costs $3,000 less.

The Model X refresh brought a Plaid version to the lineup to replace the Performance trim. Plaid starts at $138,990 and caps out at $163,990, including all the most expensive add-ons. Note that the Model X Plaid only comes in the six seat option.

Currently, customers who order their Model X Plaid today are not scheduled to receive their EV until fall. Even worse, Dual Motor purchasers are looking at a delivery window between March and June of 2023. If youd rather not wait, it might be worth considering a pre-owned Model X, theyre out there.

How Much Is A Tesla Cybertruck

No vehicle has arguably created as much stir at its unveiling as the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup. Now expected to reach production sometime in 2023, Teslas arguably cool electric pickup comes wrapped in polarizing wedge-shaped stainless steel bodywork, with an allegedly impenetrable exoskeleton and bulletproof glass, and a predicted 7,500-pound tow rating.

There may be three trim levels of the Cybertruck, but Tesla has changed its mind in the past and now has no information regarding the Cybertruck’s trim levels on its website. We do now that the originally planned single-motor model has been cancelled and the truck will launch with a new quad-motor model. This raises the truck’s base price for Dual Motor AWD model to an estimated $49,990, while the Tri-Motor AWD model is still expected to start at $69,900. No price has been revealed for the newly announced quad-motor model, which will be the most expensive. Few other details are available, other than that, you guessed it, Autopilot is standard and adding “Full Self-Driving Capability” is an extra $12,000. Reservations are now being accepted for a modest refundable $100 deposit.
